Hi, I’m Sylvia - Breakup Recovery Coach & Relationship Counsellor

What I Do

I help people who feel stuck after a breakup understand why they can’t let go of their ex — and support them to move on in a way that actually lasts.

This isn’t about telling you to “just move on” or distracting yourself until enough time passes.

Because if that worked, you wouldn’t still be here.

The work I do focuses on what’s actually keeping you attached:

  • emotional attachment

  • nervous system responses

  • relationship patterns

  • unresolved loops in your mind

When those things shift, letting go stops feeling impossible.

Why This Feels So Hard

Most people think they’re struggling because they’re not strong enough or not trying hard enough.

That’s not what’s happening.

After a breakup, you’re not just losing a person. You’re losing:

  • the connection

  • the familiarity

  • the version of yourself in that relationship

  • the future you had in your head

Your system responds to that as a real loss.

That’s why you can’t just “decide” to move on.
And it’s why overthinking a breakup, checking your ex’s social media, or feeling pulled back into the relationship keeps happening — even when you don’t want it to

Who I Work With
