Relationship Counselling

Support to help you understand your patterns, process emotional pain, and create real change—at the root, not just the surface.

If you’re here, something in your relationship—or a past one—has stayed with you.

Maybe you’re going through a breakup and can’t seem to let go.
Maybe you’re in a relationship that feels confusing, overwhelming, or emotionally draining.
Or maybe you’ve noticed the same patterns repeating… and you don’t fully understand why.

You might be thinking:

“Why do I react like this?”
“Why do I feel so anxious or triggered?”
“Why do I keep ending up in the same situation?”

And even when you try to think your way through it… it doesn’t seem to shift.

That’s because this isn’t just happening at the level of your thoughts.

This Work Goes Deeper Than Talking

A lot of support focuses on advice, strategies, or just talking things through.

But if you’ve already tried that, you’ll know—it doesn’t always create real change.

Because the patterns you’re experiencing in relationships aren’t accidental.
They’re coming from something deeper.

The way you attach
The way you respond emotionally
The way your body reacts in certain situations

This is where our work focuses.

Not just on what’s happening…
But why it’s happening, and what needs to shift underneath it.

What I Help With

I work with individuals navigating:

Breakups and relationship loss—when you feel stuck, attached, or unable to move on

Divorce and separation—processing the emotional impact and rebuilding your sense of self

Relationship anxiety and overthinking—constant analysing, second-guessing, and emotional overwhelm

Anxious attachment—fear of abandonment, needing reassurance, feeling emotionally dependent

Avoidant attachment—pulling away, shutting down, or struggling with emotional closeness

Emotionally intense or unhealthy relationships—where something feels off, but hard to name

Repeating relationship patterns—attracting similar dynamics and not knowing how to change them

If something keeps coming up for you in relationships… there’s always a reason.

How I Work

My approach focuses on understanding both the mind and the body.

Because emotional reactions don’t just come from your thoughts—they’re held in your nervous system.

In our sessions, we work with:

The thoughts and beliefs that shape how you see yourself and others

The emotional patterns that keep repeating

The parts of you that feel triggered, reactive, or stuck

The physical responses in your body—like anxiety, tension, or overwhelm

I draw on approaches like parts work (IFS) and somatic practices to help you:

Understand yourself on a deeper level

Regulate your emotional responses

Shift patterns that no longer serve you

Feel more grounded, clear, and in control

This isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about helping you understand yourself in a way that creates real, lasting change.

Why You Might Still Feel Stuck

One of the most common things I hear is:

“I understand it logically… but I still feel the same”

That’s because insight alone isn’t enough.

If something is rooted in your emotional system or nervous system,
it needs to be worked through—not just thought through.

When we start working at that level, things begin to shift differently.

This Might Be For You If…

You feel overwhelmed in relationships or after a breakup

You struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or emotional reactions

You feel deeply affected by relationship dynamics

You keep repeating patterns you don’t fully understand

You want more than just advice—you want real change

Work With Me

I offer online and in-person counselling.

This is a space where you can slow down, process what you’re going through, and begin to understand yourself in a deeper way.

From there, change becomes possible.

A Note from Me

What I see most clients struggle with is that they start with insight.

When they come to me, some of them have already done a lot of work trying to make sense of their behaviours. But they still don’t know how to actually change those behaviours.

And that can create shame, guilt, and other unhelpful feelings that end up making it even harder to function the way they want to.

What I help you do is release the blocks that are causing the disconnection between what you know and what you do, so that you can actually apply it in your everyday life.

And for those who don’t yet have that insight, we start there.
